Artist

Fanni Bácskai is a Hungarian painter and sculptor with a passion for horses, especially the Akhal-Teke. The love affair began in childhood, almost simultaneously with the artist, for both horses and art. These two passions have guided me through every stage of my life, and this is where I can truly find my fulfilment. Horses touch my soul, their energy obsesses me. As an artist, I am drawn to things that inspire me. Their graceful, defined lines, the arch of their necks like a snake's, their graceful and strong bodies like a cheetah's, and their eagle-like eyes. I have captured on canvas the typical qualities and characters of horses. I use a unique technique to achieve a delicate, silky effect. I draw inspiration from experiences and feelings. My works follow the traditional method combined with modern materials.
